With an impressive art collection, the task at hand was to design a space that complements, rather than competes with, the art.

At LC-14, that was achieved through an inviting color palette, thoughtful lighting, and strategic sightlines. The result is interior design that is warm, comfortable and functional for the users.

The interior project fulfilled the objective of creating a pleasant and practical space for the client to enjoy privately, but also to create flex space for entertaining guests. Vieyra Estudio provided versatility to the apartment, making use of a retractable lattice that integrates the public and private spaces.

Each area was carefully designed together with the members of the home. The challenge was to give each area a particular personality, but when bringing the spaces together, enable them to behave as one.

Materials were selected that would endow each space with light, and at the same time generating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites each room to become a gathering space.

Case goods and seating areas float above the floor, creating a more expansive feel of the space.

Furnishings were sourced according to comfort, taking care that the design achieved a balance between the classic and the contemporary.
