At Vieyra Estudio, we faced a unique challenge designing the interior of a project in a low-density residential area in Mexico City.

The 400 m² plot, with a 10 m frontage and 40 m depth, imposed restrictions due to construction regulations. We collaborated with Ignacio Urquiza’s architecture firm, which designed a steel and glass structure adapted to these constraints.

Our focus was on interior design and furniture selection, creating a dynamic and welcoming environment with double heights, bridges, and covered terraces that integrate with the exterior architecture. We chose a structural color inspired by Le Corbusier’s Pantone, which harmonizes with the surrounding greens.

The blue/green glass reflects the environment and helps visually integrate the house with its context.

The layout includes a basement with a gym and playroom, a first level with public areas connected to the garden, bedrooms on the second floor, and a rooftop with a children’s garden and terrace. The careful selection of textures and furniture, along with the vegetation and landscaping designed by Thalia Davidoff, create a unique residential experience that seamlessly blends interior and exterior spaces.
