Opened on the east side of Austin, Texas in October 2023, the OMET showroom features the brand's collection of luxury design pieces from across Latin America.
OMET introduces a new way of conceiving design: as a living cultural expression, as an intentional architectural gesture, and as an evolving artisanal heritage. Founded by architect and curator Lorena Vieyra, OMET is much more than a showroom; it is a space of intersection—between disciplines, geographies, and materialities—where design is experienced as narrative, form, and encounter.

The architecture of the space—conceived and designed by Vieyra—responds with both precision and sensitivity to the urban fabric of East Austin, a district in constant creative effervescence, home to architecture studios, independent galleries, and design workshops. Within its 230 square meters, the showroom unfolds as a rigorously curated spatial sequence: each piece not only inhabits the space, it activates it. Every object on display functions as a symbolic artifact and a tangible expression of a shared identity.
OMET brings together a constellation of Latin American designers whose practices move fluidly between sculpture, architecture, and functional art.

Each piece is conceived through an architectural logic: proportion, scale, tectonics, and spatiality shape a visual and formal language that resonates with the body, the environment, and memory. Far from the ephemeral or the industrial, OMET’s curatorial approach champions the handmade as both an act of cultural resistance and a pursuit of aesthetic rigor.
At its core, OMET is a space for contemplation and discovery—a place where design becomes emotional architecture, where each object tells a story of origin, and where luxury is redefined through the authenticity of process and the depth of the artisanal gesture.
